The Eminence Independent Schools are governed by a five-person Board of Education elected by the citizens of the school district.  Each board member is elected for a term of four years.

The board has general control and management of the schools of the district, and is responsible for the hiring of a superintendent to manage the daily operations of the school.

The Eminence Independent Schools Board of Education will meet on the third Tuesday of the month at the board office at 6:30 p.m. Students, parents, school personnel and concerned citizens are welcome to attend.
